    • About Glandion

      Glandion Carney has served as a speaker, spiritual director and retreat guide for years making him a sought after retreat leader in many venues. His experience leading others on their journey helps them to hear the voice of their own hearts and the voice of the Holy Spirit. On retreat, he offers a selection of topics for gaining clarity in discerning the heart of God.

      Glandion is an ordained Deacon of Anglican Church in Rwanda under Bishop John Rucyahana. He has also served as chaplain for the Christian Legal Society, a member of Renovare, an author of 8 books, a faculty member for the Academy of Spiritual Formation of the Upper Room, consultant to the Salvation Army in the area of spiritual care, and a leading speaker on the subjects of spiritual formation and prayer. He and his wife, Marion, are parents of four children and grandparents of eight. He currently serves the local church at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Birmingham, Alabama

      Glandion’s most recent book (with William R. Long), A Hard-Fought Hope: Journeying with Job through Mystery, instructs the reader in living a life of integrity today.
